Oscar Pistorious is NOT a man with “no legs” who ran in the Olympics. He has legs. They’re not flesh and blood, but they are legs, and they are his. He doesn’t run on stumps.
Every time you describe him as having no legs, as or “broken” or worse, “born broken” as they did in the NBC profile tonight, you’re not talking about him, because that’s very clearly not who he is. Ask him. Oh wait, you don’t have to, because we’ve heard how he describes himself. Those are not his words.
