- and as actual continually violent suspects have been pointed out . it is interesting to me that no one wants to go TO THEM but to their VICTIMS and blame them for responding to the very language that Laci Green uses that gets them victimized IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I got threats & harassment for almost a year. 51 weeks & some change of my inboxes looking like “fuck you nigger cunt” “I hope I see you so I can teach you a lesson you worthless bitch” etc. interspersed with “If you want to make sure this never happens to anyone else, you should get up on a stage & talk about it”, “If you’re really that scared why are you still online?” etc. And do you know what made it stop finally? Not boredom. Not a sudden recognition of my humanity. No. I got a new job with a different agency & their security protocols meant that when I disclosed what was happening (because I am required to disclose & boy was that fun), men with badges & guns took my information & those emails & messages & names & they went to work. But no one was in a hurry to do that & I include local law enforcement in more than one city TBH, until I got a new job. I was emailed pictures of me & my kids walking across the parking lot of our apartment complex. I stopped sleeping for months & my PTSD got significantly worse, but hey that’s not important. The harassment of MMM & of you & of so many other bloggers that we see daily? Doesn’t matter. Stormfront’s ongoing hatred & harassment of Tempest? Not nearly as serious as this. Or something. Sympathy for Laci & all of that, but let’s be clear about the language used in those comments & the number of times we see the words of marginalized people twisted in conversations that aren’t contentious at all & ask yourselves why this assumption that the threats were made by marginalized people who used their names to call out Laci & didn’t hide behind anon at all & not trolls from any number of boards where this is what they do for kicks?
